One of the most well-known and highly respected designers on the planet is Oscar de la Renta, and his drop dead gorgeous bridal collection is definitely one of the most anticipated every year! This season {as is true of every season}, I am happy to report that Oscar once again did not disappoint. His beautiful gowns evoke a modern sense of romance, with a few fashion surprises thrown into the mix. In this collection we saw sweetheart necklines, floral appliqués, trumpet skirts and lots (and lots) of Chantilly lace. But, we also saw lots of blues thrown into the mix with blue tulle accents and a pink and blue embroidered gown, as well as a crimson crushed velvet gown and a bright red scarlet gown as the runway show finale.There were even bridal pants with a cropped top for the more daring brides!
